The 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards

For those of us who make a lot of Christmas Cards for the festive season, now is the time to start creating. To help with creativity, innovation, a touch of inspiration and a bit of (hopefully) artistry, Stampers is set to launch the 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards.

The 1st Class led by Ann will be October 3, then next week will be taught by Robin. Info about the upcoming classes follows

NOTICE: The Spellbinder’s Advent Calendar (currently sold out) and 12 Days of Stitchmass (2 available $99) kits are in the store now. If you were on the list to reserve the kits, please come by to pick them up.

Emails have been sent out. If any kits are not picked up by the end of the month, they will be offered for sale.

Memory Keeper Class

We are very fortunate to have Trudy come and share her talent in the art of making a Memory Keeper Album. The class will be taught in two sessions:

• October 2, 2023, 1:00-3:30pm — You will be guided through the process of making a bare album. Cost is $35.00. Includes written instructions, chipboard, and cardstock to complete your bare album. (SOLD OUT)
• October 16, 2023, 1:00-3:30pm – The follow up session will be offered to show how to cover your album under Trudy’s guidance. More details to follow.

Christmas Floral Card Class with Lisa Horton

Lisa has designed another amazing EXCLUSIVE embossing folder with matching die, stencil set and a sentiment stamp set just for Crafter’s Home stores! In addition, Lisa has a special card class featuring three stunning cards using these products.

This Christmas Floral set is going to be a very versatile set to have in your collection and perfect for any reason and season! Lisa will guide you thru the process of inking and stenciling to get the most out of these products plus sharing a few hints, tricks and additional ideas using matching products that will be available only to class participants. No one else in the world with have access to this product so don’t delay as production has begun and that means we have limited quantities available. Get into the festive spirit and unleash your creativity with this exclusive Crafters Home Christmas card class taught by renowned crafting expert Lisa Horton

This class is offered as a live virtual class Saturday, October 28th at 12:00 Central, allowing you to participate and interact if needed as well as ask questions and follow along safely from the comfort of your home. When the video is uploaded after the live session you can return to watch over and over again. You can enjoy the class live or at whatever time suits you as the class will be available on demand.

Cost: $65 for kit (which includes the Stencil, one piece Die, Embossing Folder, and Stamp sets) and access to the private Facebook page and video.

Upcoming Classes

October 3 — 1st of the 12 weeks of Christmas Cards

5:30 – 7:30pm

Using die cutting and heat embossing techniques, Ann will show you how to create this gift card holder poinsettia.

Cost is $20



October 10 — 2nd of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards

5:30 – 7:30pm

Using a project sheet from 3Quarter Design, Robin will lead you through the crafting of two cards. Upon sign up, you’ll receive the project sheet so you can get started on the cutting (all will be explained).

Cost is $20

October 17 — The 3rd of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards

5:30 – 7:30pm

This Christmas card stocking card is made of foiled card stock and is filled with small presents (nope not coal). Most of the die cutting will happen during the class so you’ll have a choice of colors for your card.

Cost — $20

October 24 – The 4th of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Cards

Taught by Marianne, elements to make two cards will be provided from the 3Quarter Designs card kit ‘December Wishes’.

Cost — $25 for the class of two cards or $35 for the class which includes the card kit which makes at least 6 cards.

More classes are being designed and scheduled. To be posted on Facebook ‘soon’.

Due to the size of the classroom, the number of seats is limited. Signups for classes are not confirmed until payment is received.

For each class, please be sure to bring a basic card making kit that includes: Scissors, Pencil, Ruler, Eraser, Stamp Platform or Acrylic Block, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Craft Knife, and Cutting Mat. Please note that some classes may require additional tools or supplies.
