Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

December 24th, 2024

It has been an incredible month at Stampers! Still stuff coming in, (believe it or not, the latest is the shipment of new velvet papers that has been stuck in the mail for a month) but incredible amounts going out! Now having said that, there is still LOADS of amazing stuff still in stock! Endless stamps, dies, folders and accessories! (Inks are getting low though.)

As of December 27th, the new discount on all this goodness is 40% OFF! (45% off for GOLDS.)

(The table of new product is still regular priced at this time. (GOLDS still get their 15% discount though.)

Don’t forget the boxes and baskets of discounted items at 60% off the original price!

I am starting to pack up my own personal supplies- sorting and organizing. Not so easy to decide what to keep! Only a paper crafter will understand the difficulty with throwing away even little scraps of cool papers!

Hello, all! Christmas is coming along fast, and I don’t know about you but postal strike or not, I am still going to mail out my Christmas cards. Even if they don’t arrive until January, that doesn’t matter. Sometimes I think it is nice to get something cheerful in the dismal days of January (or maybe even February if they get too backed up.)

THE CLEARANCE SALE CONTINUES! It has been SO very busy in here, but the displays and shelves are still quite full! (It might have been a touch over-full before, lol.) Almost everything has now increased to 30% off (except for the new stuff still coming in, including Christmas and more!) with GOLD customers getting 35% off. For best selections, don’t wait!

If you are close to being GOLD, and want to get the extra discount, it is not too late. Finish up your card(s) with reg priced merch, collect your bonus $20 worth of products of your choice per card and start using your discounts right afterwards.

Sale Christmas items in the boxes is now 60% off its original price. This discount may also increase per week.

If you are in need (or want) of anything- if it is something I have access to, I will try and get whatever I can. I intend to keep bringing in things as I run out if practical, so if you are thinking about replacing machines, plates, tools or anything else, please let me know. (A shipment of Big Shot plates came in this morning- I know some of you have been waiting for these.)

The goal for the final day of being open is Friday, January 31st. It won’t be quite 30 years, but close. This won’t be the last newsletter either- there will be at least two more, and of course I will keep the STAMPERS Facebook page open indefinitely for communications with everyone. (and I still want to promote the Papercrafter’s Sales, the retreats and crops for as long as it seems needed.)

Hello, all. I have been trying for the last couple of days to figure out how to word this in the newsletter, and I’m not sure if I will do this adequately even now, but here goes.

I’m closing.

It has been almost 30 years now, and the time has come for a whole variety of reasons, none of which are bad, honestly. I want to travel, finish The Book, spend more time in my garden, help more at my church, clear out my basement, and so much more. I still love making cards and can’t see myself stopping. I actually want to get into junk/art journals and get more into mixed media. We’ll see. I would love to participate in the activities that some of you are in, if possible.

Meanwhile, I now have a store to shut down! Obviously, almost all merchandise is going on sale asap, with each week the percentage off increasing, starting tomorrow. With the exception of the new stuff on the tables, everything else will start at 15% off- (20% off for GOLD customers. Happy Almost-End-Of-Summer!

Important updates!

Saturday, August 31st. Stampers will be closing early (2:30pm) on Saturday, sorry. It is unavoidable, and I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are in town just for the long weekend, let me know. I will happily be staying open until 7pm on Friday night, or if you let me know it’s preferable, I will open for you on Sunday afternoon. (Not unless you let me know, though!)

I will still be doing a “Something Different” but it will start at 11am instead of 1pm. Still thinking of ideas for this so if you have suggestions, let me know!

Saturday, September 14th. 10-2pm The BIG Papercrafter’s Sale! Strawberry Vale Hall, off Burnside. Loads of incredible deals here!! (I understand that there might still be a couple of tables available.) If you are interested in more information, call Marianne or Robin at 250-857-3312. 

Christmas in July (and August) continues…. All stamps, dies, paper packs and embossing folders 50 % off. I need to make room! (Sale limited to in store merchandise only.)

Happy Fall-Winter!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Hello, all. I have been trying for the last couple of days to figure out how to word this in the newsletter, and I’m not sure if I will do this adequately even now, but here goes.

I’m closing.

It has been almost 30 years now, and the time has come for a whole variety of reasons, none of which are bad, honestly. I want to travel, finish The Book, spend more time in my garden, help more at my church, clear out my basement, and so much more. I still love making cards and can’t see myself stopping. I actually want to get into junk/art journals and get more into mixed media. We’ll see. I would love to participate in the activities that some of you are in, if possible.

Meanwhile, I now have a store to shut down! Obviously, almost all merchandise is going on sale asap, with each week the percentage off increasing, starting tomorrow. With the exception of the new stuff on the tables, everything else will start at 15% off- (20% off for GOLD customers. GOLD customers will still get 5% more off the discounted prices, except for the heavily discounted Christmas.) If you are close to being GOLD, and want to get the extra discount, it is not too late. Finish up your card(s) with reg priced merch, collect your bonus $20 worth of products of your choice per card and start using your discounts right afterwards.

Sale Christmas items in the boxes is now 60% off its original price. This discount will also increase per week.

If you are in need (or want) of anything- if it is something I have access to, I will try and get whatever I can. I intend to keep bringing in things as I run out if practical, so if you are thinking about replacing machines, plates, tools or anything else, please let me know as soon as you can, because there will be no ordering in the last few weeks, but I don’t want anyone left high and dry.

So many of you have been with me from the beginning- back when we were on the side of Courtside Sports on Prior and Hillside- and I consider you friends. I don’t intend for that to change. Over the years we have built a community of papercrafters together. You have been with me in all the highs and lows of my life. Please be with me now.

Happy Almost-End-Of-Summer!

Saturday, August 31st. Stampers will be closing early (2:30pm) on Saturday, sorry. It is unavoidable, and I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are in town just for the long weekend, let me know. I will happily be staying open until 7pm on Friday night, or if you let me know it’s preferable, I will open for you on Sunday afternoon. (Not unless you let me know, though!)

I will still be doing a “Something Different” but it will start at 11am instead of 1pm. Still thinking of ideas for this so if you have suggestions, let me know!

Saturday, September 14th. 10-2pm The BIG Papercrafter’s Sale! Strawberry Vale Hall, off Burnside. Loads of incredible deals here!! (I understand that there might still be a couple of tables available.) If you are interested in more information, call Marianne or Robin at 250-857-3312.

Happy Fall-Winter!

Hello, all. I have been trying for the last couple of days to figure out how to word this in the newsletter, and I’m not sure if I will do this adequately even now, but here goes.

I’m closing.

It has been almost 30 years now, and the time has come for a whole variety of reasons, none of which are bad, honestly. I want to travel, finish The Book, spend more time in my garden, help more at my church, clear out my basement, and so much more. I still love making cards and can’t see myself stopping. I actually want to get into junk/art journals and get more into mixed media. We’ll see. I would love to participate in the activities that some of you are in, if possible.

Meanwhile, I now have a store to shut down! Obviously, almost all merchandise is going on sale asap, with each week the percentage off increasing, starting tomorrow. With the exception of the new stuff on the tables, everything else will start at 15% off- (20% off for GOLD customers. GOLD customers will still get 5% more off the discounted prices, except for the heavily discounted Christmas.) If you are close to being GOLD, and want to get the extra discount, it is not too late. Finish up your card(s) with reg priced merch, collect your bonus $20 worth of products of your choice per card and start using your discounts right afterwards.

Sale Christmas items in the boxes is now 60% off its original price. This discount will also increase per week.

If you are in need (or want) of anything- if it is something I have access to, I will try and get whatever I can. I intend to keep bringing in things as I run out if practical, so if you are thinking about replacing machines, plates, tools or anything else, please let me know as soon as you can, because there will be no ordering in the last few weeks, but I don’t want anyone left high and dry.

So many of you have been with me from the beginning- back when we were on the side of Courtside Sports on Prior and Hillside- and I consider you friends. I don’t intend for that to change. Over the years we have built a community of papercrafters together. You have been with me in all the highs and lows of my life. Please be with me now.

The goal for the final day of being open is Friday, January 31st. It won’t be quite 30 years, but close. This won’t be the last newsletter either- there will be at least two more, and of course I will keep the STAMPERS Facebook page open indefinitely for communications with everyone. Happy Almost-End-Of-Summer!

Important updates!

Saturday, August 31st. Stampers will be closing early (2:30pm) on Saturday, sorry. It is unavoidable, and I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are in town just for the long weekend, let me know. I will happily be staying open until 7pm on Friday night, or if you let me know it’s preferable, I will open for you on Sunday afternoon. (Not unless you let me know, though!)

I will still be doing a “Something Different” but it will start at 11am instead of 1pm. Still thinking of ideas for this so if you have suggestions, let me know!

Saturday, September 14th. 10-2pm The BIG Papercrafter’s Sale! Strawberry Vale Hall, off Burnside. Loads of incredible deals here!! (I understand that there might still be a couple of tables available.) If you are interested in more information, call Marianne or Robin at 250-857-3312. 

Christmas in July (and August) continues…. All stamps, dies, paper packs and embossing folders 50 % off. I need to make room! (Sale limited to in store merchandise only.)

Hello, everyone! Summer is three-quarters over and I am only now sending out another newsletter, sorry! This is to be just a quick update and reminder of the current activities in the store.

We are continuing with the Saturday afternoon demos!

These have evolved from strictly technique to a combination of technique and interesting products combined with all sorts of unusual card folds and shapes. Every week is a different one- the samples are in the store display case and of course on the Stampers Facebook page. I don’t just demo these- you work along with me and create a prototype of your own to take home and re-create from. (The goal is for you to bring back something the next week to show us.) We have a fun time. Bring your coffee or ice tea and join us. Snacks are served! (If you have your own Scoreboard or trimmer, bring it along so that we aren’t all having to wait for mine to be free- don’t have one? No worries.)

Christmas in July!

Our incredible Christmas Sale continues, with all dies, stamps, and papers 50% off while supplies last. (Sale is limited to our huge inventory of in-stock merchandise, including that of Spellbinders, Creative Expressions, Hero arts, Pink Fresh, Pink and Main, Lawn Fawn and many more!) There are still LOADS to pick from.

For those who are completing their sets of ink pad re-inkers, the sale of 25% off all re-inkers of all brands continues. And if we don’t have it we will bring it in for you at the same discounted price- bring me your lists! Welcome to Summer- finally!

Although the garden has gotten a mighty boost from the sudden heat (my tomatoes are covered with yellow flowers!) I am very grateful for the A/C both here at the store and at home!

We are continuing with the Saturday afternoon demos!

Hi, all! Hard to believe that it is almost June already- not that the weather is any evidence of it!

(Not complaining- it has saved me hours of watering my gardens.)

Free demo’s continue on Saturdays- 1pm-3:30pm. These are so much fun, and a great way to learn lots of tips and techniques, and fresh ideas for cards and projects.

So far we have focussed on Lisa Horton Inks, Embossing Powders, Stencils and Stencil Butters, Using Pretty Napkins in Cards, (and an on-going napkin swap!), Backgrounds, and more! (and as always, we are SO not limited to the day’s topic! Questions and suggestions are always welcome.) Saturday, June 1st’s topic is Embossing Folders. Further topics will be announced on the FaceBook page, but if you want to see something specific,

just shoot me a message.

(After the demos are done, I make cards with the pieces we have created, and I then post pics of these on the FaceBook page.)

Every week there is a new SALE- 25% off the week’s specials! (30% off for GOLD customers), which runs Friday to Saturday. This week, all INKS (except for Lisa Horton) are 25% until Friday, May 21st. Then starting Saturday, all RUBBER or POLYMER stamps (from all manufacturers) go on sale for 25% off. (All sales applies to in-stock merchandise only- does not include special ordered items.)

(Also, I am clearing out all Stampendous stamps and dies, including House Mouse, for 30% off (35% for Gold Customers) until gone. There is a really good selection to choose from right now, so don’t wait.

I order from suppliers fairly often so if there is anything in particular you are wanting from any particular company, please ask. I’m not sure how fast I can get it, but I will sure try!

As always, we are still collecting bottles and selling the wash cloths ($5 each) for Andi to help cover Ginny’s discretionary living costs at the home. (She is 90 now!)

And of course we are still selling cards and the garden figures to help support L.I.F.E. (Lucy Irvine Foundation Europe) and her amazing animal rescue there. (A percentage of the figures, and 100% of card sales go to L.I.F.E.)

Hello, All! Happy spring again!

Free Make and Takes continue on Saturday mornings and Free Demos on Saturdays, starting next Saturday, April 20th!

SO, starting at 10am- noon, the Make and Takes will be done using the Katy Sue card-making kits. The first card is free, and any others are $5. Please bring your own adhesive (glue, tape and foam tape) for this.

FOLLOWING this, starting at 1pm-3pm, will be the free demos. The first one will be using Lisa Horton folders, dies and Interference Inks. Bring your coffee and visit!

The Beginner’s Cardmaking Class this month is April 18th, 10am-2pm, and is $40 plus gst. Bring only your own adhesives (liquid glue, tape and foam tape) everything else is provided. (Please call to register. Payment in advance is required. Full refund or store credit if class is canceled.)

Just a reminder that we are still collecting bottles to help support Ginny in the Heights at Mt.View, and taking donations of change at the same time.

Also, all pre-made cards in the spinner are for sale, and all proceeds go to L.I.F.E. for the rescue and care of dogs, cats and horses in Bulgaria.

Also, all the garden ornaments in the store are created for outdoor use, and a portion of the sales of these goes to L.I.F.E. as well.

Carol Manzon’s next crop is coming up fast- it is the 3rd Thursday of each month (so next week on the 18th of April) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 9300 Willingdon Road, out by the airport. For information, please call Carol at 250-881-2099.

Hello, All! Happy spring again! Thank goodness that the weather has lightened and we can spend more time outside as well as inside!

We have had a lot of wonderful stuff arrive in the store in the last few weeks- come in and take a look! I have put photos up on FaceBook of the varying things and sample cards to go with them. (I have no idea how to include photos in those set newsletters!)

Classes seem to be not taking off lately, except for Beginners Cardmaking, so I will focus on those (twice a month) AND I am bringing back Free Make and Takes, and Free Demos on Saturdays, starting next Saturday, April 20th!

SO, starting at 10am- noon, the Make and Takes will be done using the Katy Sue card-making kits. The first card is free, and any others are $5. Please bring your own adhesive (glue, tape and foam tape) for this.

FOLLOWING this, starting at 1pm-3pm, will be the free demos. The first one will be using Lisa Horton folders, dies and Interference Inks. Bring your coffee and visit!

The Beginner’s Cardmaking Class this month is April 18th, 10am-2pm, and is $40 plus gst. Bring only your own adhesives (liquid glue, tape and foam tape) everything else is provided.

Just a reminder that we are still collecting bottles to help support Ginny in the Heights at Mt.View, and taking donations of change at the same time.

Also, all pre-made cards in the spinner are for sale, and all proceeds go to L.I.F.E. for the rescue and care of dogs, cats and horses in Bulgaria.

Also, all the garden ornaments in the store are created for outdoor use, and a portion of the sales of these goes to L.I.F.E. as well.

Carol Manzon’s next crop is coming up fast- it is the 3rd Thursday of each month (so next week on the 18th of April) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 9300 Willingdon Road, out by the airport. For information, please call Carol at 250-881-2099.

We are still collecting bottles for Ginny, the senior lady we support, who survived Hurricane Dorian that devastated the Bahamas in 2019. Your generosity in the past 4 years has been amazing!

From the sale of the cards in the spinner by the door, and donations, we matched dollar for dollar and we’re able to send almost $1,000.00 to the L.I.F.E. (LUCY IRVINE FOUNDATION EUROPE) rescue and rehabilitation centre for abused and abandoned animals in Bulgaria. They receive no funding from the government or any private businesses, strictly surviving on donations from people. We are proud to be able to help them with pet food and any surgical needs.
