School Has Started – STAMPERS!

Hello Blog,

Fall is getting closer…days are getting shorter, leaves are beginning to change colors, and the shouts of joy you’ve been hearing the last few days are parents celebrating that school is now back in session.

Only a few new items this week, including the arrival of the elusive paper pickup tools, new 8×8 & 12×12 paper (Dear Santa by Memory Place from Japan) and a few new colors of stencil butters and glazes. Picture will be posted on the Facebook page.

The Semi Annual Craft Supplies/Tools Fair is Tomorrow

Note: this is a sale for Paper Crafting Supplies and Tools, no completed crafts, projects or works of art will be sold at this event.

THE SALE:

Over 24 vendor tables available with a wide variety of paper crafting supplies: Cardstock, Paper Pads, inks, markers, cutters, mixed media and many more tools. Cost to enter remains at $2.00. The Club has a large lot for free parking and is easily accessible.

Get into the festive spirit and unleash your creativity with this exclusive Crafters Home Christmas card class taught by renowned crafting expert Lisa Horton

This class is offered as a live virtual class Saturday, October 28th at 12:00 Central, allowing you to participate and interact if needed as well as ask questions and follow along safely from the comfort of your home. When the video is uploaded after the live session you can return to watch over and over again. You can enjoy the class live or at whatever time suits you as the class will be available on demand.

Cost: $65 for the Stencil, one piece Die, Embossing Folder, and Stamp sets as well as access to the private Facebook page and video.

Upcoming Classes

Thursday September 21 — 6:00-8:30pm

Ann’s Intro to Cardmaking: $20

A true beginners class, Ann will give insights, tips, tricks and much info while you make two cards. If you know anyone looking to get into paper crafting, let them know about this class.

More classes are being designed and scheduled, including a folio class and the 12 weeks of Christmas Cards. Detail up soon.

Due to the size of the classroom, the number of seats is limited. Signups for classes are not confirmed until payment is received.

For each class, please be sure to bring a basic card making kit that includes: Scissors, Pencil, Ruler, Eraser, Stamp Platform or Acrylic Block, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Craft Knife, and Cutting Mat. Please note that some classes may require additional tools or supplies.

We are still collecting bottles for Ginny, the senior lady we support, who survived Hurricane Dorian that devastated the Bahamas in 2019. Your generosity in the past 4 years has been amazing!

From the sale of the cards in the spinner by the door, and donations, we matched dollar for dollar and we’re able to send almost $1,000.00 to the L.I.F.E. (LUCY IRVINE FOUNDATION EUROPE) rescue and rehabilitation centre for abused and abandoned animals in Bulgaria. They receive no funding from the government or any private businesses, strictly surviving on donations from people. We are proud to be able to help them with pet food and any surgical needs.
