Hello, all! Happy Spring, and especially, Happy Easter!!
This is just an update FYI to the newsletter of two weeks ago. (Thank you to those who wrote back words of encouragement to that one.)
A reminder that STAMPERS! will be closed on Friday, March 29th…. Good Friday, but definitely open on Saturday the 30th, although slightly shortened hours. I will be closing at 4:30pm this day. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
ALSO, I will be closed on Friday, April 5th for the whole day as well (attending a concert on the mainland!) but also open regular hours on Saturday the 6th. Again, sorry for any inconvenience.
We are still collecting bottles to support Ginny at the Heights. Any and all donations welcome!
Stampers also sells handmade and store bought cards to support L.I.F.E. (Lucy Irvine Foundation Europe) which is a wonderful animal rescue in Eastern Europe.
Also, all the hand-painted resin, ceramic and metal figures in the store are for sale, and all created to be outside figures for any garden. Any of them would be a perfect gift for Easter, Spring, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day.
There is a wonderful Papercrafter’s Crop once a month at the Seventh Day Adventist
Church (9300 Willingdon Road, in Sidney, out by the airport) on the 3rd Thursday of every month. For information call Carol at 250-881-2099.
Please mark your calendars for May 11th and 12th as there is an exciting free weekend of artist studio locations to tour (self-guided) in the Cadbury Bay, Gordon Head and Mount Tolmie areas. We are happily supporting the Hills To Shore Artist’s Tour this year, and will have the tour brochures in the store as soon as they are available.

Upcoming Classes:
Beginners Cardmaking: Enter the doorway to the most satisfying hobby ever (IMHO) with this four hours long class that will cover everything from the soup to nuts of Cardmaking! This class is highly recommended for anyone who wants to try their hand at this wonderful craft, or just wants to have a shot of inspiration towards what they already create. Please bring your own liquid adhesive, double stick tape and foam tape. All other supplies provided. $40 +gst. Thursday April 18th, 10am-2pm.
The TaDa Diorama and Platform Pop-up Cards: I love all things Lawn Fawn and these two cards are no exception. Once you can do these awesome base cards the sky is the limit for your creativity using any stamp and die designs! Please bring your own adhesives. All other supplies provided. $30 plus gst. Saturday, March 30th, 2pm-5pm.
Windows and Wreaths: Create an amazing outdoor scene card, and a lovely wreath card using Spellbinders dies and our brand new classroom Mini Blossom die cutting machines. All you need is your liquid glue, and double stick tape. All other supplies included. $30 plus gst. Friday, April 12th, 2pm-5pm.
Little Birdie Mini Journal: Just a fun little journal learning some fun pages, tucks and tags and creative techniques in this 2 1/2-3 hour class. Please bring your own adhesives. Everything else is provided. $30 plus gst. Wednesday, April 10th, 10am-12pm.
Note: I am ruthlessly clearing out classroom supplies, with a view of having a sale in the very near future, and possibly a big sidewalk sale at the same time. Watch this space!!
ALSO: I want very much to start up our free Saturday demos, possibly with make and takes on Saturday mornings again. Working on these plans, but feel free to make suggestions!
